How do we Book you?

GET IN TOUCH: Let's talk about your event, project or vision. A lot can be decided based on the general vibe that you are looking for, musical style, and type of event you are organizing (Wedding, House Party, Corporate, Recordings, etc)
LOGISTICS: After the music, details such as Sound/Gear requirements, Location, Number of Guests, Size of Space, and Special Requests will be discussed; all details that will define the final quote we will provide event. If everything looks good, the next step is gathering basic information, including the client's name, event date, start and end times, event address, and an email address for the agreement. An invoice will be provided, and a 50% non-refundable deposit (typically via Zelle or Venmo) is required to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the event/service.
DONE! We want to make this as easy and stress-free as possible, and provide you the music and aesthetic you visualized all along. You are welcome to be in touch to iron out final details as we approach the event, and we are excited to bring the vibes!

What packages do you offer?

I offer solo guitar, vocal duet, jazz trio and larger band packages, with performance times ranging from a minimum of up to 1 hour, and a maximum of 4 hours, including short breaks in between sets; 4 hours = 4 sets. During breaks, we can play background music from our speakers, if you wish. Factors like type of event, location, number of musicians, number of song requests, logistics, equipment and condition provisions may affect pricing upwards or downwards, depending on the scope of your event/project.  I am available for all event types and creative needs, including: weddings, corporate events, galas, fundraisers, parties, private dinners/intimate occasions, surprise proposals and more

What styles of music do you play?

I perform many different styles at the elite level. I’m a Jazz trained touring and session guitarist, with a Summa Cum Laude degree from Berklee College of Music, who is often hired to play electric, acoustic and classical guitar in Jazz, Latin, Rock, Country, Folk, Funk, RnB, Pop, Middle Eastern, Spanish, Soca, Musicals and Cinematic music. We can handle anything you have in mind.

What areas do you travel to?

I am based in New York City, and can provide entertainment within several hours of both. I am also available to travel further distances nationally and internationally if desired. Reach out and we can discuss details.

Do you take song requests?

Accepted Answer

Yes. From solo to trio, we start with a curated and vetted set list, in a variety of styles, that we base our performances on. Regarding song requests, I firstly find out the type of event and music you envision to tailor a set list for the occasion. From there, we can discuss song requests ahead of the event (which requires more preparation, and depending on the amount of requested material, may be an additional fee). Wedding ceremonies often have an expected processional and recessional song request, many times as a solo guitarist, whereas for other types of events, such as a Jazz Trio for a gala, we have a set list mix of standards and popular songs that work well for the event. Do you provide your own sound system?

Yes. I a provide a few different amplification options appropriate for most occasions, from a small backyard picnic, to an outdoor ceremony with up to 100-150 people. For occasions where a larger sound or larger band is needed, depending on the occasion and location, I hire a separate sound person from my network, and there would be a notable increase in the provided quote. I specialize in small to mid-size events where I can provide the gear. If you do want a larger production, I do offer more generous pricing to those who have already employed a sound personnel that I can collaborate with.

How far in advance should I book?

Bookings often happen within 2-6 months from the event. For weddings, and longer timeframe events, 12 months in advance is also accepted. I encourage you to reach out to confirm my availability, even if you don't have all details decided on - I am here to help. If I’m available, I do take last minute bookings, especially for solo guitar, where I am the only musician involved.

Question 9

What to expect the day of event? Any requirements?

If playing a solo guitar set, I typically arrive between 30-60 minutes before my start time. Prior to the event, we’ll have discussed gear logistics and sound requirements. Some basic needs include a chair to sit while performing, mainly for intimate solo guitar sets or duets, and access to electricity.

What's your booking/cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Booking is confirmed once Ramiro Marziani receives the minimum 50% non-refundable deposit from securing the event, unless discussed otherwise. The remaining balance is due the day of the event.

You may pay the entire balance before the event if desired. It will be eligible for a refund up to 60 days before the event. In the event of a cancellation on the part of Client occurring 60 days before the event, the remaining 50% balance will be due. If significant details surrounding the event change (such as a change of location, date, safety concerns, severe inclement weather with no cover or alternate plan, etc), I will do my best to accomodate, but reserve the right to refuse or alter service in unsafe or unreasonable conditions, in accordance to the timeline of the cancellation policy above. In the event that force majeure, such as, but not limited to, fires, adverse air quality, earthquakes, illness, national emergencies, road accidents, severe weather conditions, or other similar acts occur, affecting the role of Marziani at any point leading up to and including the day of the event, Marziani will offer a full refund of any deposit/balance payments made. In the event of a Force Majeure occurrence affecting the Client — the deposit paid by the Client shall remain non-refundable. However, the balance payment shall be waived.

Refund: I take my commitments seriously, and in the rare event that I’m unable to perform due to an emergency, I have a network of top-tier musicians I can call on to ensure you still have an incredible performance. I will always do my best to take care of you! And in the unlikely event I’m unable to secure someone for you, I will offer a full refund.

If the Client desires to reschedule the event, they must notify Ramiro Marziani of the intended rescheduled date within 90 days of the initial cancellation. The rescheduled event must take place within 12 months of the original date, and Marziani must be available for the new date. A new deposit will be required for the rescheduled date, however Ramiro Marziani will honor the original rate agreed upon at the time of the initial booking.

What if you’re not available or out of our budget? Can you still help me?

Yes! I have a network of elite level musicians based in New York who I work with and can provide talented performers for your event. Please reach out, and if I can't make your event because of a previously scheduled touring or performance commitment, I can provide the artist or band. I only work with professional, talented, and kind people, so you can be assured I will be finding the right fit.
